Daorae is actually a very famous Korean restaurant with its branches located at a few different places in Msia. The newest and biggest branch will be the one located at Tanjung Tokong, Penang. If you google the word 'daorae', you can find out many thumbs-up-comments about this restaurant.
Okay, enough of introduction. :P
The branch I went to last sunday is located at bandar puteri, puchong. According to our guide ahxin, TVXQ visited this restaurant before! Something surprised me after I google-ed 'daorae+TVXQ'. This restaurant actually offered 10% discount to MY-TVXQ fan club member for 1 year long!!! (http://official-my-tvxq.com/daorae-privileges.htm)
We ordered BBQ pork, BBQ chicken, and fried 年糕. It costed about RM90 for only three dishes. YES! It's expensive! Thanks to ahxin for treating me (this poor student). XD But, I have to say, it really worth a try if you have never been to this restaurant before. Other than the main dishes we ordered, the customers will actually be served with many small dishes such as kimchi and soup. These are refillable if you want to, and they're FOC. :) Furthermore, they will serve you with barli+watermelon when you pay the bill. According to nutritionist ahxin (again), it's for cooling purpose after eating the BBQ foods. XD
